We’re guiding the agricultural sector toward concrete actions against climate change and for sustainable food production.
EVECSA helps Europe’s agricultural sector adapt to climate change through the implementation of practical, climate-smart solutions.
We work with regions, training providers, farmers, universities, agro-companies and experts to understand what skills are needed – today and in the years ahead – and to map the resources already available across the agri-food sector.
By encouraging cooperation both within and across regions, the project strengthens vocational training and helps build a more sustainable agricultural sector that protects food security, creates jobs, and supports thriving rural communities.
What is Climate Smart Agriculture?
Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) empowers farmers to face climate challenges while enhancing agricultural productivity, resilience, and sustainability.
EVECSA supports agricultural professionals to adopt CSA practices in their daily work.
What is a Centre of Vocational Excellence?
Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) are Erasmus+-funded initiatives that enhance the quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET). Six regional CoVEs have been launched as part of EVECSA, bringing together diverse stakeholders to develop climate-resilient skills and policies.
